  • More than $3.7 million in federal assistance from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to improve runway safety and upgrades at the Dutchess County Airport.

  • $300,000 federal grants and $1.5 million in loans for economic development along the Hudson Riverfront for Dutchess County.

  • $300,000 from the Centers for Disease Control to combat lyme disease.

  • $612,000 for Marist College to remove abandoned debris in the Hudson River and stabilize the shoreline.

  • $1.4 million to help construct the Maybrook Corridor Bike and Pedestrian Trail.

  • $1.1 million for improvements along the Route 9 corridor.

    Beekman
  • $1.6 Million to make critically needed Bridge replacement and improvements on Route 55

  • $30,780 in federal funding for fire communications equipment, operations and firefighter safety improvements for the Beekman Fire Company

    City of Beacon
  • $652,000 in Federal Transportation Funds to Help Protect Open Space along the Hudson River and to Alleviate Chronic Parking Problems

  • $50,670 in Homeland Security Funds to Enhance Safety and Equipment for Beacon First Responders

  • $400,000 in federal funds to support the Rivers & Estuaries Center on the Hudson River.

  • $745,125 to restore Ferry Service between Beacon and Newburgh.

    Dover
  • $114,974 in federal funding assistance to support local fire operations, equipment upgrades and firefighter safety improvements for the J. H. Ketcham Hose Company.



    East Fishkill
  • $1.04 million for street repairs and major road improvements in East Fishkill, including construction of the Hopewell Junction Bypass Road, upgrades to Lake Walton Road and Robinson Lane at Route 376.

  • $650,000 to improve drinking water infrastructure in the Hamlet of Hopewell Junction.

  • Convinced the Environmental Protection Agency to declare the Hopewell Precision Site a Superfund site and add the area to EPA’s National Priorities List. The declaration expedited the restoration of air quality and drinking water supplies, including the installation of water filtration units and air ventilation systems in contaminated homes.

  • Secured $675,000 for improvements to drinking water filtration plant in East Fishkill.

    Fishkill
  • $63,602 in Federal Assistance to improve firefighter operations and firefighter safety for the Glenham Fire District.

  • $58,425 in Federal Assistance to improve firefighter operations and firefighter safety for the Chelsea Fire Department

  • $400,000 for the Village & Town of Fishkill and Village of Wappingers Falls to hire new police officers.



    Pawling
  • $71,250 to boost local firefighting operations, upgrade firefighting equipment and increase safety for firefighters at the Pawling Fire Department.

  • $580,000 for Highway Improvements on Old Route 55, Reservoir Road and street and sideway improvements on Grandview Avenue.

    Poughkeepsie
  • $900,000 for Improvements on Bedell Road, Sharon Drive, and Hornbeck Road. in Poughkeepsie

  • $350,000 to upgrade emergency facilities at St. Francis Hospital.

  • $100,000 for improvements and renovations in the Arlington Business District.

    Wappingers
  • $58,425 in federal funding for fire communications equipment, operations and firefighter safety improvements for the Chelsea Fire Department

    Wappingers Falls
  • $600,000 to make significant road improvements on North Mesier Avenue.

  • $400,000 for the Village & Town of Fishkill and Village of Wappingers Falls to hire new police officers.
